We Want To Encourage Team Spirit And The Idea Of Being A Good Loser – Proprietor Holy Cross International College
The proprietor of Holy Cross International College, HCIC Yaounde, Emmanuel Buban Ngu says the idea behind the organization of the school competition dubbed “Proprietor’s Cup” is to encourage team spirit and the idea of being a good loser among students.
Emmanuel Buban Ngu made the statement while preceding the finals of the Proprietor’s Cup on December 14.
He also said, “It is a privilege to talk to you this day on the occasion of the 2020 Proprietor’s Cup. I will like to say that, most of you have mentioned discipline, fair play, and respect for seniors as virtues that we need to have. I want to say that those are very good principles and that we will be expecting you not necessarily to win but win in fair play.”
“…What we want to encourage is team spirit and the idea that you can be a good loser. So I wish the games to start and that at the end of the day, we should have a wonderful day,” he said.
The college Mother, the Principal, Sister Constant, and the entire staff accompanied the school proprietor during the finals in the football discipline.
